Character area: Hillside and woodlands

Overview

Making the most of the ridge -line to the north and ancient woodland to the south, new homes in the woodlands area will consist of lower density housing optimising views and sense of enclosure.

Larger, terraced, semi-detached and detached homes respond to site topography. New neighbourhood spaces include tennis courts, a BMX trail and linear park. Historic mature trees and views towards River Mole Valley are protected within this area.
