Invitation to the second stage of engagement events

Overview

Thank you to those who attended our stage one engagement events held at the Chattenden Community Centre on 26 February and 1 March and for all comments provided at and after those events. We’ve taken on board your feedback to help develop our proposals and we are now in a position to present a proposed vision and emerging masterplan for the Chattenden Barracks site.

Continuing the conversation

We now want to continue the conversation with the local community and other key stakeholders during a second stage of engagement to further understand how the redevelopment of the site can best deliver benefits to the area and local communities.

Two further engagement events are being organised to give the local community and other key stakeholders further opportunities to see and comment upon the Vision for the Barracks site alongside a proposed masterplan. These engagement events are being held at the Chattenden Community Centre, Swinton Avenue, ME3 8PH on:

• Thursday 12 June (between 2pm and 8pm) and
• Saturday 14 June (between 11am and 5pm) 

The engagement material being presented at these events will be made available (from Thursday 12 June) on this web platform for those who cannot attend the events along with details on how comments to the material can be provided.
